Towbin Buffer is supplied as a 10X concentrate containing 0.25 M Tris and 1.92 M glycine in aqueous solution. It can be diluted with methanol and distilled water to prepare a working buffer for protein transfer applications.
To prepare 1 L of working buffer, dilute 100 mL of the 10X concentrate with 200 mL methanol and 700 mL distilled water.
