Intercept® (PBS) Blocking Buffer

Intercept (PBS) Blocking Buffers are formulated to provide highly efficient blocking and low background variability for replicable quantitative Western blots and other immunoassays. Intercept (PBS) Blocking Buffer is the blocking buffer of choice for near-infrared (NIR) fluorescent applications when using a phosphate-buffered saline (PBS) system.

• Contains no mammalian proteins for the lowest cross-reactivity with mammalian antibodies.
• Excellent choice for biotin-streptavidin detection.
• Suitable for a wide range of applications, including NIR Western blots, chemiluminescent Western blots, In-Cell Western™ assays, and protein arrays.

Formulation

Intercept (PBS) Blocking Buffer is a ready-to-use blocker formulation in PBS. It contains no sodium azide, making it suitable for both near-infrared or chemiluminescent detection. It is stored at 4 °C and is also available in kits with Immobilon^®-FL PVDF and nitrocellulose membranes.

Shake well before each use.
